Renovation project for a vacant house located in Setúbal, near Av. Luísa Todi.

The intention was to transform the space into a Local Accommodation, taking advantage of both the size and type of construction as well as its privileged location, which is highly sought after by tourists.

The intervention preserved the existing stone wall, maintaining the soul and original character of the house. The high ceiling allowed for the creation of a mezzanine with a bedroom, adding functionality without compromising the feeling of space.

The end result is a harmony between the historic character of the house and contemporary style, with the use of noble materials such as wood and stone, combined with cement, iron, glass, and white surfaces. The white of the kitchen contrasts with details of the decor, giving the project an elegant and balanced eclecticism.

Each element has been designed to provide comfort, functionality, and aesthetics, transforming a ruin into a memorable experience for visitors.
